Dawn Fraser Baths is a nationally significant heritage public tidal swimming enclosure situated on Sydney Harbour in the Balmain area. The Inner West Council looked to upgrade the facility in 2019 and maintain the intrinsic character and heritage value of the buildings.

CMS were brought in to capture the baths with a high definition laser scanner to produce a vital record of the built structure. From this, a detailed dilapidation report and heritage record could be established. Our BIM team went on to create a survey accurate model of the facility for use by the architect and contractor in the further phases of work.

The baths will re-opened to the public in Summer 2020.
